Ask your AI assistant about your municipality
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or any AI assistant you use to OpenCouncil. Your assistant gains access to search, municipalities, people and the full transcribed records of council meetings — and answers with references to the source.
Works over MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard AI assistants use to connect to external sources.
For example
- «What were the most important topics in Attica's municipalities last week?»
- «What has the municipal administration said about childcare centres? Show me exactly what was said.»
- «Draft a social media post with the key positions from the latest council meeting.»
- «What has the council discussed about my neighbourhood?»

Claude Code and other tools
Any MCP client that speaks streamable HTTP connects with one command — for example in Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http opencouncil https://opencouncil.gr/mcpPersonal access
With an OpenCouncil account, your assistant can additionally save highlights in your name: selected excerpts from a meeting's records. Create a personal MCP address and use it instead of the public one.
